My skin needs to recover from congestion - makeup suggestions?

I realized today just how badly congested my skin is, pretty terrible. turns out a nighttime moisturizer I've been using is the culprit (Pond's Dry Skin - it has mineral oil mostly in it, 2nd ingredient - ew). Anyway, what's a good kind of makeup base and regimen to use in the meantime while it heals? Like concealer (which I need) and loose powder, or something like that? I have uneven skin tone. My skin is oily/combo, sensitive, acne prone. I read that talc-free is good to let the skin breath, and mineral makeup. Obviously I'll need something oil free and non comodegenic. Suggestions please? I would suggest coming up with a plan for what you want to do...if you're going to ween, you cant give in to the fits. You can hold him or offer him something else to drink or eat. If you're going to do child-led weening, it doesn't sound like he is ready. My first daughter gave up nursing around a year old all on her own, but she was attached to her pacifier...the fits she threw for that thing when I finally took it away were horrible. It took at least a week to get her to stop with the fits. My new baby (still nursing) is much more attached to the and I plan to ween her around 18 months if she is still nursing. I imagine the fits to be as bad as my first gave with her pacifier. Be prepared to lose some sleep and have an extremely clingy baby when you do decide to ween, I think no matter when you do it, it is going to be a bit rocky for a while.

Can a 10 mth. old baby have a virus w/ just diarrhea & being fussy?

My math book teaches me how to divide the opposite by the adjacent, opposite by the hypotenuse, adjacent by the hypotenuse etc..... this can be done without a calculator. but then it says to figure out the angle you press the inverse sin,cos,tan key on the calculator and it will display the angle. i want to do this without a calculator. i find it fascinating and do take a genuine interest in triangles and how useful they are, but if someday i'm out on a jobsite with no calculator then all this knowledge dont do much for me. i need to be able to do EVERYTHING without a calculator to be happy with myself.THANKS

I have been dating my current boyfriend for 7 months now. At the beginning of the relationship we had a long conversation on jealousy, and he expressed to me that he's never felt that emotion towards any of his previous girlfriends because he feels that it leads to irrational behavior and can consequently harm the relationship. A four year term is really an insufficient period of time in which to achieve your aims, especially bearing in mind that a good portion of the latter half is devoted to winning a second term. Then in your second term, knowing that it is your last, there is less incentive to do anything other than roll along "in neutral" until the end. Five years might be better, and I don't see a good reason for saying no President should serve more than two terms. I think it should be a matter for the President's Party to determine at any time.

1st Gen Tacoma or 2nd Gen?

I "traded up" to a 2nd gen 4.0 V6 6-speed TRD Off-Road 4x4. My 97 Tacoma was also V6 4x4 5-spd. The newer Tacoma models just don't feel as solid as the older ones. More power, yes, but the transmission feels clunky. The new "drive-by-wire" throttle response is computerized and jerky. Any other personal experiences going from a first gen to a second gen?

IYou can use the thin set or concrete patch. Why you would have to insulate a cold water feeder pipe is beyond me when you live in Florida. I have been putting PCV pipe into concrete for years and never had a problem. I would use the thin set because if you ever had to replace the pipe, it is easier to break out than concreter.

I have a 1997 ford escort, and i have over drive,drive,L,N and reverse as my options. i was told to use over drive for when i go 45 and up but i was wondering if there is a certain way i should switch should i not press the gas when switching from over drive or to over drive? The best thing to do is to talk to his supervisor and let him know how you feel. It seems that if you let the Senior yst person know he will get worse he probably will not lay off. If you talk to his supervisor in a professional matter and letting him know that its nothing personal and that you feel like you are being micro-managed by this guy and that you don't feel comfortable approaching this guy on your own they should do something about it. Wonderfully written...very entertaining. I totally agree w/you. My husband and I discuss this all the time and it saddens us to have to be so protective over our children when outside playing because of the predators. We have 3-4 registered predators around our area. I allow my kids to play in the dirt and to have the fizzy drinks, cupcakes and such but also make sure they are eating a balanced meal as well. I am protective and sometimes overly..I can be a nervous mom..but its from all the warnings and accidents that I have heard of. Oil leaks very slowly out of 86 Bronco. Will running thicker oil fix it?

I have a 86 bronco that leaks oil very slowly, but the oil falls onto the clutch making it jerk. I've ran some of that "Stop oil leak" oil additive and it did actually help, but hasn't completely stopped it. My uncle suggested running thicker oil in it to make it harder to leak out. What weight oil should I use? I live in Mid Missouri and it gets pretty cold in the winter so nothing that will be too thick to start on a cold day.

Hired a contractor to do a job?

Install skylights was the job. It was done on the outside and looks good. The problem is on the inside! The skylight ends six inches above the drywall. Rain does not come through but it looks bad. The boss came to look at it and agreed it looked bad but said that roofing is his field not skylights. He didn't mention that on the phone when I hired him. Is it normal to hire a contractor to do one job and have to hire another to make it look nice? The bill for the job is $1800.00. I feel scammed. Is that what this is or is this typical?

This is NOT POSSIBLE. Why? Because you need to have a surround sound decoder for 5.1 sound. Your Blu-ray/VHS player does not have a decoder. Your television may have one but it doesn't have direct 5.1 speaker outputs so even if it did you couldn't use it to drive speakers directly. I understand space concerns - everybody has them, but you NEED a surround sound decoder and surround sound receivers have them built in. I see no way around this. You need to buy a 5.1 surround sound receiver/amp - this will drive your 5.1 speakers.

Am I Being A Lousy Parent Here???

Ok so my son had this project on aviation that he was given at the beginning of November well Jauary rolls around and he still hadn't handed it in. He said it was too hard but he never told us about the project until the day before it was due and we were left helpless to help him. Late Loan Payment?

I took out a secured installment loan from my credit union for an auto I purchased about a year ago. It was a two year loan and i had been making payments of about $135 every month, before the grace period had expired. One month, I was so busy with school that I completely forgot, and missed a payment by 2 days. I got a letter from the credit union stating such, and that it was at their discretion to report the matter to credit bureaus. I ended up just paying off the entire loan about a year early a few months after that. Other than this incident, I have perfect credit, and about 3 credit cards. I am 22. Dilated cardiomyopathy -- Left ventricular dilation at 7.7 cm?

My husband , 61 has dilated cardiomyopathy. A medical report from last year says that he has "severe left ventricular dilation, 7.7 cm". All other parts of the heart are reported to be either "moderately" or "mildly" dilated. Could anyone please give me an idea of dangerous this is, how much larger than normal it is (he is 6'2" and weighs about 200 lbs). How much larger can it get before it becomes acutely life threatening? What can I expect as to his life expectancy (he also has copd with only a little over 18 in VO2 max (not sure I got the wording of th measurement correct) which apparently is considered "very poor"). He refuses to talk about his disease and seems to be in denial as to how sick he is. Anyways, you said the mirror had no hooks, but if you want to take the time you could tape or glue a wire or hook to the back of the mirror like a picture frame has and then use those adhesive hooks on the wall. Essentially, give the mirror a hook and use the scotch wall hangers. They work great.

2 year old having hard time sleeping?

My daughter is almost 2 and doesnt want to sleep at night anymore. I stopped their naps so therefore at 8 they would take a shower and go to bed..that worked for a while until recently she doesn't want to nap or sleep at night. She will cry in her bed till i go and pick her up. It is really getting hard putting her to bed..but she needs her rest also.
