feeding Mothers only?
I would suggest coming up with a plan for what you want to do...if you're going to ween, you cant give in to the fits. You can hold him or offer him something else to drink or eat. If you're going to do child-led weening, it doesn't sound like he is ready. My first daughter gave up nursing around a year old all on her own, but she was attached to her pacifier...the fits she threw for that thing when I finally took it away were horrible. It took at least a week to get her to stop with the fits. My new baby (still nursing) is much more attached to the and I plan to ween her around 18 months if she is still nursing. I imagine the fits to be as bad as my first gave with her pacifier. Be prepared to lose some sleep and have an extremely clingy baby when you do decide to ween, I think no matter when you do it, it is going to be a bit rocky for a while.
