Birthday gift ideas for the middle of June?

My b-day is in June and my mom is pestering me to tell her what I want, sadly the only things I want either get upgraded in September or she can't get me. I'm turning 16, I was thinking about an iPod Touch but it would be silly to get it then want a new one in September.
