Question about Presidential term limits?

I'm British but still have a view, for what it is worth. A four year term is really an insufficient period of time in which to achieve your aims, especially bearing in mind that a good portion of the latter half is devoted to winning a second term. Then in your second term, knowing that it is your last, there is less incentive to do anything other than roll along "in neutral" until the end. Five years might be better, and I don't see a good reason for saying no President should serve more than two terms. I think it should be a matter for the President's Party to determine at any time.
