Are we on the verge of another civil war-conservatives v liberals ?

Hopefully, Democrats with a brain will leave the party and start a new one or something. It would be nice to have three major parties. I really want to see more power given to individual states, a lot more power, so we can make legislation that reflects our views. And it would be a dream if other countries would open up their immigration, Europe and the Commonwealths, so Americans who want that way of life can move there. :-)
