What does my duckling think of me?

hi i have a week and 4 day old cayuga duckling i got him when he was 6 days old but has he imprinted on me or am i just his friend because my old duck followed me evry were and he follows me almost evry were but some places he dosent some times. He doesnt stop chirping until i pick him up if i put him in his cage and he lets me hold and pet him and loves sleeping on my shoulder but who does he think i am
