I have access to brine shrimp. i need to know if i can get them to survive in fresh water. if so the steps?

No, Brine Shrimp cannot live in freshwater. As for selling them to local pet stores, I doubt any of them would bother. Brine Shrimp eggs are extremely cheap to purchase, and most stores actually hatch their own to sell as live food.
