Can the Lakers win a title if Kobe doesn't control his emotions?

What is with all the bickering, complaining, and getting techs and ejected? He really seems to be falling apart at the worst possible time. They need him focused if they are going to win it all. I had them picked over Detroit in 7 games. Now I am not so sure.
